A solution for a small bedroom

I got an assignment to do a makeover of a friend's room. The room is very small and it lacks light. The furniture is also very dated.

She mostly hated the fact that it's too dark in there so i tried to make it look bigger and brighter by adding white, bright blue and gold color.

The big old wardrobe that is in the room makes it even smaller, so i have imagined a simple light clothes rack instead of it.

Room also has two more big and dated side tables, so we would be changing it with only one night table and few shelves on the wall.
